Pitch in
The New York Coalition of Professional Women in the Arts & Media will present a two-part workshop on the art of pitching ideas and projects. The first part of "Pitching With Conviction" will address defining and creating pitches; the second deals with preparation and presentation. The workshop is designed to provide techniques and skills for capitalizing on one's strengths, breaking through blocks, and getting in the door. Scheduled guests include Jim Arnoff, a television packaging agent, entertainment lawyer, and life/career coach, and Grace Kiley, a licensed clinical mental health counselor who specializes in unconscious communication, dreams, and Jungian theory. The workshop is set for Mon., March 10 and 17, from 6:30 to 9 p.m. (followed by networking) at Manhattan Theatre Club, 311 W. 43rd St., 8th floor, Studio A, NYC. The cost is $18 in advance for both sessions, $10 in advance for one, or $12 for each at the door. Seating is limited.
