Event Description: In the next LPTW Professional Seminar, the Crowdfunding Queen herself and LPTW Member, Melissa Center, will lead you through 3 Keys to Crowdfund like a Queen. Through this hands-on seminar, you will learn how to set yourself up for success, walk away with practical tips, and be inspired to create (and fund) your own art. 

This program will have a Q&A at the end moderated by Illana Stein.

Scott, is a NYC award-winning non-profit theater, education institution and community center that has been a vital resource for many in the community, including at-risk and homeless youth, for over 33 years. They have a rewarding community program with volunteer opportunities and events that you are invited to join. Builders of the New World (“BNW") Program This unique after-school theater arts education program has changed the lives of children living in NYC transitional housing facilities. With your help, they will be running an award-winning theatre arts education program for 7 - 13 year old children this Spring, April - June. Dates here. They have a number of ways you can volunteer! Mentoring Youth: Train creatively and mentor children 1 on 1 in the Tuesday classes and Saturday rehearsal. Skills-based Volunteering: They are seeking experienced professionals to join one of their production teams to get the word out about their program. Share your Marketing, Fundraising, HR, Production, Photography/Videography, Administration skills with other idealistic volunteers to help deliver their children's theater program. Apply here. Single-day Volunteering: Volunteer 1 or more days to serve the children food, type their stories, prepare and beautify the theater facility for the children's final performance in June.
