Detroit Shetown Women’s Film Festival
JOIN US in Detroit Michigan for the third season of Detroit SheTown Film Festival- happening October 1st-3rd 2021! Established in 2018, the Detroit SheTown Film Festival screens short films in the following genres: Animation, Comedy, Drama, Documentary, LGBTIQA+, Music Video, Short Episodic, and Thriller/Horror. Our emphasis is female-driven independent short form cinema in performances, stories and key filmmaking production positions. We showcase important creative works of female directors and filmmakers from Michigan and around the world, using state-of-the-art digital projection provided by our host venue, Cinema Detroit in midtown Detroit, Michigan, with sold-out audience screenings all weekend long!

- Films in a language other than English must be subtitled in English unless dialogue or commentary is unnecessary for comprehension and appreciation.

- Please submit two still images from your film, any poster artwork, and press materials that can be used for promotional purposes (Hi-resolution JPEG – no more than 3MB in size).

Women Calling the Shots at the Hamptons International Film Festival
The Women Calling the Shots showcase of short films made by women filmmakers will take place at the 27th Annual Hamptons International Film Festival (October 7th – 13th, 2021).
A partnership between the Hamptons International Film Festival (HIFF) and New York Women in Film & Television (NYWIFT), Women Calling the Shotsis in its 18th year. The series gives voice to the creative visions of women through film and video, including scripted, documentary, animation and experimental works.
NYWIFT invites its members, as well as members of Women in Film chapters worldwide, to submit their short films for consideration for this program that is curated by NYWIFT and HIFF.

o Eligibility: SHORTS ONLY: Films must be 20 minutes or less in running time. (There will be no exceptions for films with extended running times.)

BendFilm Festival
The 18th annual BendFilm Festival is confirmed to take place October 7-17, 2021! With consideration to current and potential COVID 19 protocols, guidelines and limitations, the 2021 Festival may be a hybrid of virtual and in-person screenings and events. Named as one of the "Top 25 Coolest Film Festivals in the World" and a near-constant fixture of MovieMaker magazine's "50 Film Festivals Worth the Entry Fee", BendFilm celebrates independent films and the risky, passionate, tough and talented people who make them. The 2020 festival screened 115 features, documentaries and short films, with 50% of features and 47% of shorts directed by women. This year's 18th Annual Festival runs from Thursday, Oct. 7 - Sunday, Oct. 17, with most venues located in Bend's historic downtown and the nearby Old Mill District. $11,500 in cash prizes including the $5,000 cash "Best of Show!"

Atlanta Women’s Film Festival
The Atlanta Women's Film Festival is a live screening of short films and table read events that takes place in Atlanta, GA. This event is an amazing opportunity to promote female filmmakers, directors, writers, producers, actors, and female centered storylines to our incredibly supportive film community. Shorts That are Not Pants Film Festival
Established in 2012 as a quarterly screening series in Toronto, Canada, Shorts That Are Not Pants is now a festival weekend held each November.We've screened more than 400 films from more than 40 countries so far, and we're looking for more undiscovered gems to show our shorts-savvy Toronto audiences. Los Angeles Women in Film Festival
The LA Women in Film Festival champions female identifying filmmakers and female driven storytelling. We will be accepting submissions from FEMALE IDENTIFYING DIRECTORS, WRITERS, MAJORITY FEMALE CREW (at least 50%) and/or FEMALE DRIVEN STORIES of ANY GENRE.
We are an affiliate festival of the LA FILM FESTIVALS organization that has the dual emphasis of discovering great talent with the purpose of promoting their work to both the LA public and the entertainment industry, as well as showcasing the work of seasoned professionals and well known stars.
LA Film Festivals began with the biannual LA Comedy Festival in 2001, adding the biannual LA Indie Film Fest in 2007. The LA Film Festival family has since expanded to 12 independent film festivals, including LA Horror Film Fest, LA Action Film Fest, LA Sci-Fi Film Fest, LA Animation Film Fest, LA Black Film Fest, LA Asian Film Fest, LA Latinx Film Fest, LA Queer Film Fest, LA Women in Film Fest and LA Student Film Fest.
Over the years, LA Film Festivals have attracted thousands of filmmakers from around the world. Each festival features live screenings in our own Let Live Theater in the heart of Los Angeles. Our 80-seat theater, in the heart of Hollywood, is outfitted with a Christie DLP projector and seven JBL speakers throughout the venue, delivering top notch quality in an intimate screening environment. Women in Horror Film Festival
The Festival was founded in late 2016 by filmmakers Vanessa Ionta Wright and Samantha Kolesnik. WIHFF is built on elevating marginalized voices.
