From Statera Arts: Join the Virtual SWAN Day Party

As you all know, SWAN Day 2020 events are taking a huge hit this year due to this incredible global pandemic. Your commitment to hosting dynamic, powerful, and uplifting SWAN events is awe inspiring, and we're heartbroken that this year's festivities are being so deeply impacted.

May we offer a little silver lining? StateraArts is hosting a Virtual SWAN Day Party on Facebook and we would be honored if you'd participate. We be posting photos, interviews, and more! And there are some very exciting ways that you can participate:

On Saturday, March 28th, go to the Facebook Event Page and start a live video (see image below), sharing your work or the work of artists that your event highlights.

Need some ideas for your live video?

- Your video could be a quick check-in (ie. "Hi this is Evangeline Stott and I'm coming to you live from Harlem in NYC! Our SWAN Day event has been cancelled, so instead, I'm celebrating SWAN Day with a song I wrote for the occasion... ") etc.

- Your video could be a tour of your home art studio or recording booth, etc.

- Your video could be a message to women artists all across the globe to stay strong and know that they are not alone during this difficult time.

When you add your video to the page, make sure to tag your event and the women artists involved.

Here is the Facebook Event Page link:

Another way you can get involved is to share this event on social media and invite your communities to join us!

Please let me know if you have any questions. And please let me know if you plan to participate! Thank you for all that you do to uplift, amplify, and advance women in the arts!
