Founded in 2000 in the famed artists colony of Woodstock, NY, the Woodstock Film Festival presents high quality films, panels, concerts and special events. More than 80 percent of the filmmakers participate, joining prominent industry members who attend from all over the world.
The Woodstock Film Festival is a haven for networking with high-caliber industry members, filmmakers, musicians, and artists. In addition to screenings, panels, talks and workshops, Festival Filmmakers can hang out at the hospitality lounge for breakfast and lunch and enjoy casual conversations with industry reps, members of the press and other participating emerging & established filmmakers. While the festival offers outstanding general programming without any themes, some specialty programs are always featured, including LGBTQ Focus, Spotlight on Women in Film, Focus on Music, and more.
Honoring the young and the old, endorsing community, advocating inspiration and lauding humanitarian gestures — all sentiments that sum up Woodstock and its ‘Fiercely Independent' film festival quite well.” (Hollywood Reporter)
The 20th Anniversary of the Woodstock Film Festival will take place October 2-6, 2019 and is now open for film submissions. Our early bird / discounted submission deadline is March 7th, with the regular deadline at May 9, and the final deadline on June 6th.
