Marion Ragsdale Memorial

MARION RAGSDALE

Memorial Services for Marion will be held Tuesday, November 17, 2015 from 10:00 - 12:00pm

Elstowe Manor

1750 Ashborne Road

Elkins Park, PA

Thank you to our Rehearsal Club Family for the many cards, letters and blessings that came in during her final hours.  Her family read the letters and, I'm sure, she felt your blessings.  The family would like to request that in lieu of flowers, donations to be sent in support of our Rehearsal Club Documentary.  We are, as a group, deeply grateful for the offer.  Marion's love of The Rehearsal Club and the women who remained her life-long friends, will live on through our efforts.

Cards to the family should be sent to:

Ms. Julia Ragsdale

Just days before Marion went into hospice, o
ne of her last gestures was to contribute her personal story about her RC roommate, Anna Russell, for our "Cinderella" book .  Knowing she was ill I tried to dissuade her, but she insisted saying, "it makes me feel good to bring back those memories."  So we have them in our book, "Cinderellas of West 53rd Street."  Our Writer's Committee continues to work with each and every individual writer -- we hope to share our progress soon.

In the meantime, we welcome your donations in support of the documentary be sent for "Marion Ragsdale/Rehearsal Club" to:

There may be plans to create another memorial in January for those in the New York City area.
Respectfully submitted,
