On Thursday, October 3, the women of the Rehearsal Club were invited to participate in a panel discussion at Marymount College. Lee Kelley, Chair, Rise Clemmer, Secretary, Terry Baughan, Treasurer, Jean Preece and Kathleen Conry rocked the packed room with often hilarious, sometimes horribly dark, tales from days of yore. The presentation was designed to enhance Marymount's upcoming clever production of Stage Door, diversely directed by David Mold, Chair, Division of Fine and Performing Arts, opening in November.
The women of the Rehearsal Club are also the force behind a new grassroots political campaign to support theatrical housing in Manhattan. Supporting organizations are welcome to voice their opinions. Watch for our IndieGoGo Campaign to help fund our documentary through NYWIFT. Seeking a literary agent with contacts to help get our book, "Cinderellas of West 53rd Street" to a Class A theatrical/political publisher.
