Atlanta Women's Film Festival
The Atlanta Women's Film Festival is a live screening of short films and table read event that takes place in Atlanta, GA. This event is an amazing opportunity to promote female filmmakers, directors, writers, producers, actors, and female-centered storylines to our incredibly supportive film community. There will be live screening blocks of films with Q&As with the filmmakers, table reads for the screenplays in our competition, live panels with influential women in the film industry, and networking events for anyone that would like to attend. Script writers, in addition to submitting your script to the festival we also provide optional script coverage. Script coverage with our festival includes the price of your submission fee. Your work will be analyzed by a Cinema Life filmmaker who's produced award-winning films, has extensive writing experience, and also understands the indie way of filmmaking.

WRPN Women's International Film Festival
Welcome to the WRPN Women's International Film Festival, where distribution and feedback opportunities abound for films made by women or films that carry subjects relating to concerns about women's issues. WWIFF is a sister festival to the Depth of Field International Film Festival, a FilmFreeway "Top 100 Reviewed" festival alumni. Distribution: over the years, our sister festivals have sent hundreds of films and screenplays to 3 established Distribution companies who have already signed contracts with dozens of our filmmakers. Los Angeles Diversity Film Festival
To provide filmmakers, actors, and stories of diverse backgrounds with a place to showcase their voice without judgment or insincere reflection: Free of stereotypes and degradation. Our goal is to establish a true multicultural experience represented by the world's independent film community. We support the following topics, filmmakers and communities: LGBT, Disability Culture, Racial/Ethnic Diversity, Religious Diversity, Family structures, as well as other social diversities including the aging population and youth in cinema.

o Eligibility: Submitting your film to the Los Angeles Diversity Film Festival (LADFF) in no way implies any ownership rights by LADFF to the submitted film. Submitting your film to LADFF does not imply that you have been accepted into LADFF.
To be eligible to screen, your film does not have to be a Premiere. Films must be original works, or you must have official permission and licensure to exhibit someone else's work. If you submit a film with copyrighted or trademarked materials, and you do not have written permission to use them, you are not be eligible to screen.
Films can be original or adapted works, but you must have written permission to use copyrighted or trademarked content. Your film must be in English, or subtitled in English.
LADFF will accept films that are Works-In-Progress, however, if the film in question is accepted, LADFF will only exhibit a complete and finished product. If entering more than one film, the filmmaker must submit separately.
LADFF does not return submitted materials, therefore please do not send master copies.
We accept all submissions that fit directly or indirectly with our Mission Statement. LADFF will not screen pornography, nor what we deem to be true cruelty to animals, humans, or true cruel and unusual behaviors otherwise.
You hereby grant LADFF the right to utilize any excerpt from your submitted film for promotional purposes. The individual or company submitting the film hereby warrants that it is authorized to commit the film for screening, and understands and accepts these requirements. By submitting your film to this festival, you agree that, if your film is selected by LADFF, You grant a NON-exclusive license to use, display, exploit and exhibit Your name, trade names, trademarks, service marks, copyrights, still images, moving images, audio sounds, your submitted film, material, information, and/or any other things received by LADFF, whether by physical or electronic delivery (including material and/or material(s) here, and above and below herein), publicly, at LADFFs sole discretion to promote, market and advertise the festival. You also authorize LADFF to place your images and synopsis on our website.
The individual or company submitting the film shall indemnify and hold harmless the Festival from and against any and all claims, liabilities, losses, damages, and expenses (including but not limited to attorney's fees, and costs of the court) which may be incurred by reason of any claim involving copyright, trademark, credits, publicity, screening, and loss of or damage to the screening items entered. The individual or company submitting the film hereby warrants that it is authorized to commit the film for screening, and understands and accepts these requirements and regulations.
Except for payments due collected by LADFF as stated herein or on LADFF website(s), LADFF liability for any damages caused to You as a result of performance or non-performance or damage under, or not under, this agreement shall be limited in all circumstances to an amount no greater than one U.S. dollar ($1.00).
By entering LADFF, all entrants agree to the complete contents of the LADFF Terms and Conditions found on the official LADFF website. All entrants release and waive any claims with regard to LADFF and agree to hold harmless LADFF and/or all related entities from and against any and all claims of any kind that are or could be asserted with respect to any festival related matter whatsoever, in perpetuity. After a COVID induced hiatus, Theatre Revolution LLC. is proud to announce the return of Glass Ceiling Breakers! TR established the first women's playwright festival in the Hudson Valley and is excited to welcome filmmakers to the 2023 celebration!
This new addition to this well established festival will take place at the Philipstown Depot Theatre in Garrison NY located alongside the beautiful Hudson River steps away from MetroNorth. The Festival will include special guest filmmakers to moderate the Q&A and will offer networking opportunities with filmmakers, writers and actors. GCB3 is scheduled for June 16, 17 and 18 2023 and will also include short plays by GCB playwrights.

Female Eye Film Festival
The Female Eye is a competitive international women directors' film festival that was The Female Eye is a competitive international women directors' film festival that was established in 2001, as a not-for-profit organization. The 20th anniversary returned LIVE at TIFF Bell Lightbox, June 2022. We look forward to the 21st edition! The Female Eye showcases high-calibre independent films that illuminate the best of debut, emerging, and established women directors from around the globe. Our Script Development Program is open to both men and women. FeFF is big on audience engagement and networking. Audience Q&As follow each film program. All festival delegates receive a VIP All Access Pass to the festival (screenings, script development, FeFF Photo Exhibit, happy hour, industry panels, tributes, workshops, and the closing awards ceremony), where networking with attendees, festival participants, and industry members is key. The Female Eye, noted for its intimate atmosphere and accessibility, attracts film enthusiasts, emerging and internationally recognized directors, screenwriters, seasoned industry professionals, celebrities, and decision-makers in the film and television industry. The Female Eye serves to bridge the gap between the written and film arts. We produce a robust Industry Initiatives Program consisting of panels, masterclasses, workshops, script development, and pitch and networking sessions. Annually, FeFF honours an Honorary Director and Honorary Maverick with a Best in the Biz Tribute, an "intimate conversation with" and award presentation. Script Development is a three-tier program comprising the Good to Go, a closed-door session with decision-makers for screenwriters with scripts that are "good to go"; the Script-Reading Series, where main scenes are read by ACTRA members before a live audience and industry guests who provide feedback to the writers; and the Live Pitch, where writers and their team members pitch to a live audience and an industry-led jury. The winner takes home a $2,500 cash prize. o Eligibility: Films must be directed by women. The Script Development Program is open to both men and women. Screenplays written by men must feature a female protagonist. Films must be produced within two years of the festival, and they cannot be streaming, televised, or playing theatrically in Canada. We give priority to films that have not yet screened in Toronto. The fee for the competition is applicable to all deadlines. Filmmakers and screenwriters must elect to compete for an award. The flat fee to enter the competition is $100 regardless of the deadline, genre, or project duration. FeFF programmers can also choose to nominate a project into the competition if they feel a project is award-worthy.

International Diversity Film Festival
The International Diversity Film Festival recognizes and showcases films and screenplays with a member of an underrepresented community included as one of the following: Lead Character OR Filmmaker (Director, Writer, or Producer). FILMS: The International Diversity Film Festival recognizes and showcases narrative and documentary features and shorts (including web episodes) in ALL genres. SCRIPTS: The International Diversity Film Festival recognizes and showcases feature screenplays, shorts, and television scripts. The International Diversity Film Festival was created to encourage content creators from unique backgrounds to share their stories/ The festival will promote the work of diverse (thought, race, gender, age, religion, physical ability and sexual orientation) filmmakers and recognize them globally for their achievements in film. Hispanic Film Festival
This year we are raising the prize money and looking into having a viewing section for all the winners. Actor/Producer Luis Avilez (Pam and Tommy 2021, How To Get Away With Murder 2019, Brain Games 2020, Her 2020, Addicted 2017, Amateur Hitman 2018) is once again hosting the annual Hispanic Film Festival along with Zeliva Pictures production company (Her 2020, Addicted 2017, Amateur Hitman 2018, Captured 2018, Leaving 2017, Morning Routine 2017). Festival winners will be announced on January 30, 2022 on our website. Winners of the Best Director, Best Actor, Best Actress, Best Writer and Best Editor will have a chance to work with Luis Avilez and Zeliva Pictures production company on their next production.

San Francisco International Film Festival
SFFILM champions the world's finest films and filmmakers through programs anchored in and inspired by the spirit and values of the San Francisco Bay Area. Founded in 1957, the San Francisco International Film Festival (SFFILM Festival) is the longest-running film festival in the Americas. Exact dates, venue footprint, and in-person event structure are all subject to some change based on the realities of producing a safe and accessible film festival at that time.Opportunities for Filmmakers Since 1991, SFFILM Education's Schools at the Festival program has provided the Bay Area educational community with the opportunity to experience stories from around the world. Schools at the Festival annually introduces thousands of students ages 6–18 and their teachers to international film and the art of filmmaking while promoting media literacy, deepening insights into other cultures, enhancing foreign language aptitude, developing critical thinking skills, and inspiring a lifelong appreciation of cinema. The California Women's Film Festival is deeply honored to celebrate women filmmakers, artists and writers by providing a showcase and networking forum in the heart of Hollywood. The CWFF understands how important it is to hear and see the educated, entertaining and diverse stories of women from around the globe. We provide a platform so these voices can be heard and shared with audiences that want to be inspired. The California Women's Film Festival accepts all projects that has at least one woman in one of the key production positions: (Producer, Director, Writer, Cinematographer, Editor, Lead Actress, Etc......). Projects that are produced and/or directed by men are accepted as long as there is a lead female protagonist and/or the story is based around women. Beirut International Women Film Festival
Beirut International Women Film Festival (BWFF) is an annual event organized in Beirut by Beirut Film Society, under the theme "Women for Change"; gathering filmmakers and cinema lovers from all over the world, BWFF tackles issues such gender equality, sexual identity, domestic violence among others through the power of the lens and cinema which is the window to society and particularly women in this case. The Department of Cinema Studies at New York University's Tisch School of the Arts invites applications for a tenure-track assistant professor faculty position to begin in Fall 2023. We seek scholars working in critical Indigenous film and media studies, especially (but not necessarily) in the Americas. Candidates should be conversant with the decolonial critique of settler-colonial representations, and with histories of self-representation and media performances by Indigenous peoples themselves. We welcome scholars whose work crosses disciplinary borders and who are interested in relations between various Indigenous communities, peoples, and nations. Desirable areas of knowledge and competencies include: familiarity with discussions of Indigenous media archival practices; relevant language proficiencies; and awareness of digital curatorial and artistic practices. We encourage applications from scholars who work in collaboration with Indigenous communities and who are interested in forms of collaborative and collective practices within and among Indigenous societies. This search is part of a cluster hire in Native American and Indigenous studies. The successful applicant will help build the department's strengths in Indigenous media studies and foster interdisciplinary relationships with other programs and departments across the university. Undergraduate teaching is expected and will include both courses in the general core of the major and specialized courses in Indigenous-related subjects. NYSCA/NYFA Artist Fellowship
The NYSCA/NYFA Artist Fellowship is a $8,000 unrestricted cash grant available to artists living in New York State and/or one of the Indian Nations located therein.This grant is awarded in fifteen different disciplines over a three-year period (five categories a year) and the application is free to complete. The NYSCA/NYFA Artist Fellowship is not a project grant, but is intended to fund an artist's vision or voice, at all levels of their artistic development.

Sloan Distribution Grant
The Sloan Distribution Grant is a $50,000 grant awarded by Film Independent to a film that is entering its distribution phase. Eligible films must depict themes, stories and characters grounded in real science, technology or economics.

o Eligibility: Applicants must be the producer of a narrative fiction feature film.The film should prominently feature science, mathematics and/or technology in the story and/or have a leading character that is a scientist, engineer or mathematician. Films with innovative marketing and distribution plans are encouraged to apply. All submitted films must be at least 70 minutes in length. Applicants must be legal residents of the United States. Film must be entering its distribution phase.

Panavision New Filmmaker Program
Panavision believes in helping students and beginning filmmakers achieve their dreams. More than 25 years ago, Panavision launched the New Filmmaker Program, an ongoing grant program that loans camera packages to film schools, training programs, and independent filmmakers – at little or no charge. Panavision's commitment to the industry's future provides student and beginning filmmakers the opportunity to work with professional grade equipment early in their careers.

o Eligibility: Submit your proposals at least two months before you plan to shoot. Due to the high demand for Panavision cameras and equipment, it is essential that you plan ahead and contact us early.

The New Filmmaker Program does not discriminate as to the nature of the project that can receive equipment grants. Any form, from experimental to documentary to musical to traditional narrative, is welcome.
Camera grants are available only for productions in the United States. Customs laws make transportation of cameras out of the US prohibitive. No exceptions.
The New Filmmaker Program will not allow cameras to be used on projects that perpetuate racial or sexual stereotypes and prejudices. Pornography is absolutely unacceptable.
Grant recipients must obtain insurance must from an outside insurance agent. Students can generally have the school issue the necessary policies. Plan ahead! This can take several weeks to implement. The process varies from school to school, so check with your film department. Productions that are not attached to a school must obtain the necessary insurance from an independent broker. Panavision must receive proof of insurance two weeks prior to prep dates. EQUIPMENT WILL NOT LEAVE THE BUILDING WITHOUT PROPER INSURANCE. NO EXCEPTIONS!
Approved proposals are subject to a service fee for equipment.

Catapult Film Fund
Catapult Film Fund provides development funding to documentary filmmakers who have a compelling story to tell, have secured access to their story, and are ready to shoot and edit a piece for production fundraising purposes. Our mission is to enable filmmakers to develop their films to the next level at a moment where funding is hard to find.

o Eligibility: Applicants must be 18 years of age or older. Catapult does not fund student films.
Documentaries must be 28 minutes or longer in length. We do not fund series.
Animation is okay. Documentary/narrative hybrids will be considered on a case-by-case basis.
Development funds must specifically be used for the process of completing a fundraising piece, which may include writing, shooting and editing once story and characters are in place.
Applicants must own the copyright of their production, and have artistic, budgetary and editorial control over their project.
Applicants should preferably have previous film or television production experience in a principal role (director, co-director, producer, co-producer) as demonstrated by submitting a previously completed work sample.
Applicants who have not yet produced or directed their own feature length documentary should demonstrate that they will be working with an experienced filmmaker in a principal role.
Catapult only makes grants to 501(c)(3) organizations. In most cases, this will mean getting a 501(c)(3) fiscal sponsor for the project. A film production company or individual, including applicants from outside the US, may submit an application without a fiscal sponsor in place. Please see the FAQ section for more details.

Artist Rescue Trust
The next evolution of the Artist Rescue Trust program is a partnership with Grant for the Web. They have awarded us a grant allowing us to directly fund more artists and help them educate anyone about Web Monetization as an emerging and potential revenue stream. One that doesn't rely on advertising, pay walls, and bad data privacy practices. It's an innovative way forward to help build a healthier internet.
Web Monetization is a new and open technology that aims to provide a better way to access and financially reward creators through streaming micropayments - aka tiny fractions of a penny - to instantly flow to artists and creators as people read, watch and listen to their work.
While we want to support artists now with immediate financial assistance, we also want to help support the future financial opportunities for all artists. So this is why we've built a learning component into our grant application process. We will also be releasing a series of Web Monetization tutorials that will dive deeper into how you can make it part of your online world.

The Joseph A. Fiore Art Center at Rolling Acres Farm is a program of Maine Farmland Trust (MFT) that actively connects the creative worlds of farming, conservation and the arts.
