There will be a special art show of paintings of early pioneering female filmmakers by TL Duryea. TL is an American Artist, Activist and the Founder of Sheroes, celebrating the achievements of notable women. Starting with a series of quick oil portraits of women in the public eye, Duryea created a line of products to embolden women to take up more space by wearing their support of these inspiring women.

Fall / Holiday Program from Actors Theatre Workshop

The Actors Theatre Workshop (ATW), a non-profit theater, educational institute, and community center, is looking for Volunteer Program Members to join its Fall / Holiday Season for its Builders of the New World annual year-end theater arts education program for children living in the NYC shelter system. You will have an opportunity to participate and mentor children in a Creative Class and Holiday Celebration on Wednesday, Dec. 14, 2022. Apply to be a part of our volunteer and mentorship, or photography and videography team, by filling out the application and signing up for a Virtual Information and Interview Session.

You can also sign up as an individual or team to volunteer for a day to do behind-the-scenes work to bring the program to life: decorating the theatre, wrapping gifts, setting up for the party, helping prepare and serve food for the children, and transporting gifts to various homeless shelters throughout the city.
