Dear Friends, Developing new, original plays. Our 50% women and transgender hiring standard. (And lending support to other theater companies that do the same).  We've been busy at Parity Productions in 2016. Check out our exclusive Broadway World profile. From Gregory Murphy's sold-out reading of Household Words at The National Arts Club to Teresa Lotz's She Calls Me Firefly (both premiering in 2017) to continued development of Cora Fry's Pillow Book by Rosellen Brown starring Paula Ewin and Village Stories by Antoinette LaVecchia. (Needless to say, all met our 50% hiring standard). Also in 2017, we will be announcing the first two winners of our Annual Parity Commission for Women and Transgender Playwrights. Today we launch our Annual Pledge for Parity Productions. Our goal is $50,000. We are thrilled to say we have a matching grant of $7,500. So every dollar you donate is worth two to us.
