SEXUAL ASSAULT AWARENESS MONTH:
50% OFF RELATED TITLES

"The film is especially important now, as the conversation
about rape culture is more prevalent than ever. It is an
important step in empowering victims."
                                         Policy Mic

April is Sexual Assault Awareness Month. Alarmingly, 1 in 5 women are victims of sexual violence, and a recent study has revealed that 23% of freshman women report sexual assault in college - making violence against women an extremely important human rights and public health issue.

IT WAS RAPE goes beyond these startling statistics and features intimate portraits of eight women from different ages, ethnicities, and backgrounds. Directed by Jennifer Baumgardner, an award-winning feminist filmmaker and author of Manifesta: Young Women, Feminism, and the Future, the film is a powerful tool for dialogue about rape culture. Watch the trailer from IT WAS RAPE.

Provided below is a selection from our robust collection of VAW titles that facilitate meaningful conversations, public awareness, and prevention. The collection also includes the Emmy nominated film PRIVATE VIOLENCE that has been widely used to help end all forms of violence against women. In honor of Sexual Assault  Awareness Month, we are offering a 50% discount off the following titles, and a special offer to our VAW groups for $49:

UNAFRAID

INDIA'S DAUGHTER
PRIVATE VIOLENCE
