PWSA Audition Notice

Professional Women Singers Association (PWSA), a 501 (c) (3) non-profit membership organization is holding auditions in NYC on Sunday, May 18, 2014.  There are two levels of auditions, both of which include feedback from the judging panel.  You may audition for performing membership in the group or you may audition for feedback, only. Our adjudicating panel consists of leading professionals in singing, stage directing, artist management and collaborative artists.

Our adjudicating panel consists of leading professionals in singing, stage directing, artist management and collaborative artists. 

Now in its 32^nd year, PWSA is a networking group of women singers, founded to support the work of women singers and promote musical excellence.  We offer learning opportunities, including: master classes with professionals in our field, workshops, community outreach concerts, and meetings that capitalize on skills shared among a diverse membership at all stages in their careers.   PWSA does not have a professional staff, relying on volunteer officers drawn from the membership and Board of Directors.  Performing membership benefits include free admission to meetings and workshops, participation in outreach concerts, connection with artists and professionals outside PWSA via its advertising and network memberships, and listing on the PWSA website (currently undergoing an overhaul).  Affiliate (non-singing) membership is also available.  Membership fees: $115 for Performing Members and $50 for Affiliate Members.  Union affiliation and/or management not required.  To be contacted for an audition, please go to our website and fill out the online form: www.womensingers.org .  There is a $25 audition fee payable in advance.  For more information, please email us at: info@womensingers.org .
