THE 2013
COLLABORATION AWARDS GALA
IS ONLY A FEW DAYS AWAY!

6:30 pm
at Baruch Performing Arts Center's
Engelman Recital Hall
55 Lexington Avenue, New York City

The evening will feature:

Keynote Speaker:

Madeleine Smithberg, Emmy and Peabody Award winning co-creator and original producer of The Daily Show with Jon Stewart and founder and president of Mad Cow Productions. Madeleine will share her experiences in collaborating with other women writers, as well as talk about her new collaborative female comedy entity Moo, which will showcase work of young comedy content producers and comediennes.

Awards presentations to:

Collaboration Award Winner
Jane Edith Wilson (SAG-AFTRA)
and Grace Lee (Women Make Movies)
for Janeane from Des Moines

This is the first time a film has been named Collaboration Award winner. A political mockumentary shot on the actual 2012 Republican campaign trail, Janeane from Des Moines seamlessly merges documentary film with fiction as it follows 'Janeane,' a vulnerably imagined member of the Tea Party, as she follows Republican candidates Mitt Romney and Rick Perry, among others, seeking answers to her real world problems and begging them to save 'small American families' like hers.

Honored Finalist
Silent Witnesses (a play)
by Stephanie Satie (AEA, SAG-AFTRA)
and Anita Khanzadian (SDC)

Honorable Mention
The Island of No Return (a play)
by Fengar Gael (DG, LPTW)
and Lorca Peress (SDC, AEA, LPTW)
