National Equal Pay Day - April 17th
- symbolizes how far into 2012 women must work to earn what men earned
in 2011. On April 17 EPCNYC and advocates across NY will email, call and
tweet our state officials to pass laws that close the wage gap &
create economic equity.

The EQUAL PAY COALITION NYC (EPCNYC)is a consortium of civic organizations, advocates and experts working together for Pay Equity in NY. EPCNYC was created in 2007 by the NEW YORK WOMEN'S AGENDA (NYWA),a
New York nonprofit charitable corporation, in response to growing
concern and mounting evidence of the continuing economic discrimination
suffered by New York's women and minorities and their families. In
partnership with the "upstate" New York State Pay
Equity Coalition (NYSPEC) and national groups, EPCNYC educates and
promotes policy and legislative action on all levels of government to
create fair pay reform. This nonpartisan and
nonprofit campaign welcomes organizations and individuals to work
together for economic equity. Join us!
