Location of Event: Frankfurt, Kurnit, Klein & Selz, 488 Madison Avenue, New York
Description of Event: May's power player, Molly Thompson, was named one of the ten most powerful people in documentaries by the PBS blog Doc Soup. Join us for breakfast and hear how Thompson rose from her first job in television, as an intern at the PBS show Currents, to become Vice President of A&E IndieFilms, the A&E network's feature documentary division – a department she launched.

These have included such acclaimed documentaries as Heidi Ewing and Rachel Grady's Jesus Camp, nominated for an Academy Award; Nanette Burstein's American Teen, which won best director at Sundance 2008; and the Oscar-nominated, Sundance award-winner Murderball.
